Long time no see!

The general state of social media (and the internet at large) being what it is, I probably should have gotten around to this sooner. In the end, the thing that finally pushed me to assemble this website was my participation in the Toxic Yuri VN Jam; Between seeing the personal websites of so many devs With Their Shit Together and being on a productive jag of recreational programming (which you will see the fruits of soon™) I just sat down one afternoon and banged this out.

This website has undergone a fairly large overhaul, although if you remember the old version of this page you probably won’t notice it– the biggest change is that I finally set up Jekyll and turned my HTML code into a template. You would have no way of knowing this, but I’m actually typing in a markdown file right now! Everything is set up to just fall into place when I run make build.

The other substantial change is that this layout is now mobile-compatible! I’m constantly surprised by how many people use their phones as their primary devices, but it is what it is, the times are a-changing. While mobile compatibility isn’t really a concern in neocities spheres, I plan to point to this site as a general place to keep up with my varied creative endeavors and I don’t want to categorically lock-out that many people.

Plans for the (near?) future:

• Implement a few more formatting bells and whistles
• Format existing longform writing and transfer it here
• Make mini-gallery layout:
  • and create a page with links to my games
  • and make a page for my visual art
• Tweak audio-player to “continue” playing across different pages
